    During the second meeting of the Polish–Lithuanian Energy Working Group, which was held on 23 March in Vilnius, Deputy Minister for Energy Michał Kurtyka, Minister for Energy of Lithuania Žygimantas Vaičiūnas and Vice Minister for Energy Simonas Šatūnas discussed synchronisation, of the Polish–Lithuanian gas pipeline (GIPL), problems of Orlen, possible construction of a second LitPol Link and regional energy topics.

    Separate talks were held with Lithuania’s Minister for Transport, R. Masiulis and the Director General of JSC Lithuanian Railways, M. Bartuška on the current state and prospects of further operations in the Mažeikiai oil refinery.
